John Rogers, (1734-1823) - a small property owner in East
Haddam, Connecticut, who probably worked in some of the many mills of the
"Millington" area of East Haddam.

Gurdon Rogers, (1760-1839) - an owner of a 70 acre farm in East
Haddam, Connecticut, and a Revolutionary War veteran. He lived for about 40
years on his East Haddam farm, before moving around 1833 to Saybrook (nka Deep
River), where his son John Clark Rogers was a successful businessman.

entrepreneur, and manufacturer. He lived in Saybrook (nka Deep River),
Connecticut, where he developed a successful business manufacturing products
made of ivory, such as combs, piano keys, etc.

Clark Rogers, (1830-1864) - a
resident of Deep River, Connecticut. He was a member and officer of the Masonic
Order at Deep River. His portrait still hung (in 1998) with those of other Past
Masters in the Lodge Room of the Trinity Mount Olive Lodge No. 43, A. F. &
A. M., at Deep River.
